Psalm 65:9-13

Proverbs 9:7-10:32

1 Corinthians 15:3-16

There is a richness to the abundance of God.  Psalm 65 tells about the ways that God demonstrates his abundance upon the earth…watering the land, blessing the crops, clothing the hills and covering the meadows with flocks.  Even in the midst of creation, God demonstrates great abundance.

Sometimes we miss out on God’s abundance because we think that we need to provide or we’re not sure if what God has to offer is enough.  Don’t forget who your Dad is and what He does…God is the great King who rules and reigns and rains down abundance.  Let’s give thanks for the today!

(Thanks to Tim for helping think about this Psalm!)

Psalm 59:10-17

Proverbs 1:1-2:8

1 Corinthians 11:31-12:11

This morning I was struck by the end of Psalm 59-the Psalmist notes that his enemies are coming back at night…they hunt him and others.

Then he says that he will praise God in the morning.  Did you see that?  He’ll praise God in the morning…the enemies that sneak him out at night don’t prevail.

God is a God of protection and provision.  Even in dark times, God will protect us.  If you feel that the enemy is crashing in around you, you should know that God will bring you through.

What’s our response?  Praise.  Praise.  Praise.

What are you praising God for this morning?
